Treating anxiety with contradictory intentions

I believe Dr. Victor Frankl is the person who created the term contradictory intent. I believe that you can treat anxiety disorders forever.

Let me explain the contradictory intentions. My understanding is that if you try to control anxiety by riding out or by breathing, or if you are willing to stop your body from feeling or your mind stops thinking or any of these methods, you can actually make the attack stronger.

Does this seem true to you? Are you trying to stop or "avoid" or control your attacks to make sure they do happen and they last longer and longer?

Well, if you try the opposite and tell your anxiety, "Okay, do your worst thing." "Let's see what you have." "I don't have a whole day here - you have 30 seconds to faint me, and they have returned to my day."

What do you think will happen? Just thinking that it will scare you? Ok, anxiety is a terrible thing. The idea of the car [a terrible idea, no one would think] and the constant ejection of adrenaline into your blood, making you think you will explode!

I know that I have finished it, but I am no longer experiencing it. I have not been attacked for many years.

I occasionally have some terrible thoughts that are completely unrestricted in my mind and try to gain a firm foot. If they do, my goodness, I will worry about them like crazy. But now that I have successfully shorted these ideas for a few years, I have confidence in the ability to do this every time, so they won't stay or bother me. I can laugh at them now. I want this for you.
