How does chiropractic motivate me to become a chiropractor

My first experience with a chiropractor was to enter hockey practice at the age of 11. My friend's mother is participating in her bi-weekly adjustment and asks if my friends and I are willing to come in and watch. I think, "Of course! It must be better than sitting in the car." I watched the doctor use his hands to do what he called adjustment. My friend's mother got up from the adjustment and said, "Oh, that's great!"

I think "Wow! It's so cool!" So, I asked his mother what had just happened. She explained that she had been suffering from chronic pain for many years and decided to go to the chiropractor. After she started to go, it helped her relieve the pain. She feels good, energetic and is now undergoing maintenance treatment.

I said to her, "I want to do this when I grow up." She asked why, I remember: "I always wanted to help others with both hands. This seems to be a good way to do both. I just witnessed this awesome experience, I think maybe I should look at this masseur. This is a fun thing. I have decided that I want to be a masseur, even though I have never experienced chiropractic therapy.

A few years later, when my mother started to suffer from chronic migraine, it all changed. She has been tested by many doctors, but no one seems to be able to help. The mind is getting more and more serious and is now interfering with family time. My mother is at the end of her rope! Then a friend suggested that the mother see a chiropractor. She is willing to try anything at this point.

My mother did the check and the doctor told her that he might help. When my mother accepted her first adjustment, I was there, and over time, her headaches became less painful and then less frequent. I remember that my mother lost her family function for a while because her headache always affected her. So, when I witnessed the change in her health, I really think that chiropractic is what I want. The same is true when my mother decided to undergo a chiropractic treatment and accept the first adjustment.

Therefore, I proposed to pursue this dream in my study. I studied kinesiology and then used all of this knowledge as a personal trainer to help me get into the Chiropractic School. And now, I entered my second decade as a chiropractor.

I realize my dreams and do what I like to do - use my hands, knowledge and experience to help others.

Thank you for reading.
