Get rid of cancer at an early stage

Cancer is more effective than other diseases. Although the effects of stroke and heart attack may be more severe and immediate, cancer has its own range of aspects. It may be present in the body for a long time and only detected at a later stage, which makes it difficult to contain and treat it. There is no exact cause for this disease, but there are some risk factors, and even if you reject it, there is no guarantee that it will not hit you. This is why it is considered one of the most deadly diseases. If we have to define it, then it is a group of diseases in which no abnormal growth of cells is required in the body.

Detect it by finding its location and its number. All of this was found in the diagnostic test. Some common diagnostic tests are as follows -

• Imaging test

These tests use images from inside the body. They do this to find out the quantity and see if the treatment is effective. Different forms of energy such as X-rays, sound waves, and radioactive particles are sent to your body. Change the energy mode to make an image. They are used in early stages and screening tests. Images derived from these tests are used to track changes in the course of treatment.

• Ultrasound

This procedure is used to examine tumors that are not detected in X-rays in vivo. No special preparation is required, it is a fast procedure. The created image is called an ultrasound image. These waves bounce off organs and tissues and produce echoes. Ultrasound is a special feature that creates pictures of soft tissue diseases. On average, it is completed in 15-20 minutes.

• Endoscopy

It is a minimally invasive diagnostic test that can be done with the help of an endoscope. It is a slender instrument with a hollow tube that can be inserted into the body. They have a small camera at the top that puts the image on the computer screen. It can be placed in the mouth, anus or urethra. They are used to detect cancer in people who have no symptoms or early detection of cancer.

• bone scan

This type of test scans for the presence of cancer in the bone. It may start from the bone or it may spread from different parts. The bone test also helps determine the effect of treatment on cancer. In this process, a very small amount of radioactive material is used which is injected into the vein. Areas that absorb very little tracer are susceptible to this disease.

• Mammogram

This is a special type used to test breast cancer in women. The resulting image is called a mammogram. These images show tumors that cannot be felt by hand. The entire process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. It can be done with digital mammography or three-dimensional breast imaging.

The different treatment options are explained below -

Chemotherapy

It is a treatment that uses drugs to destroy cancer cells. It prevents the affected cells from growing and making new cells. Since the cells are destroyed very quickly, normal cells in the vicinity are also damaged. There are different ways to use this treatment -

• It is used as the only treatment for diseases such as leukemia and lymphoma.

• It is called neoadjuvant chemotherapy before surgery and is called adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery.

• If the metastatic cancer has spread to other parts of the body and if the cancer reappears after treatment, it recurs.

Chemotherapy is given over a specific period of time. It is given cyclically and usually lasts for 6 months or a year. There are different ways to participate in this treatment. Some of them are intravenous, oral, injection, topical and the like.

2. Surgery

This is an operation to remove tumors from the body. It is one of the most common and oldest treatments. It can also be used for different purposes, such as diagnosing cancer, the location of cancer and the amount it spreads. It can be used alone or in combination with other techniques such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

In some cases, the surgeon cannot remove the entire tumor because it can cause damage to the body. In these cases, deconvolution is performed. Most of the tumor is removed from the body and the remaining tumors are removed with the help of other methods.

3. Radiation therapy

Cancer cells are destroyed with the help of high-energy X-rays and other particles. The main purpose of this treatment is to slow the growth of cancer cells and kill them without harming nearby healthy tissue. More than half of cancer patients have received at least one radiation treatment.

There are two ways to provide it. One is by external beam radiation, where the radiation is transmitted from outside the machine. It can also treat most areas of the body. Other methods are internal radiation therapy.
