Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this article. It's been a while since I last released it, so I think I will return to the "basic knowledge" about low back pain and sciatica and how I think about how it should be treated.
I will elaborate on some of the points I made in my future articles, but for now I just want to give an overview of what I think should be the basis for any treatment for low back pain and sciatica.
I believe [almost] always, especially with regard to non-specific low back pain, we develop low back pain and sciatica, which is due to the pressure we exert on the lower back and sciatica.
When we carry out our daily activities, our backs are almost involved in every movement we perform or the posture we use. Each posture and movement creates a certain amount of pressure on our waist. These pressures are more stressful than our waists, so it doesn't complain at all. However, each of us has a separate threshold level for these stresses, and once this threshold level is reached, it creates pain.
The pain that follows is that our body lets us know that the pressure exerted on certain structures of our lower back [or sciatica] may now cause damage. This pain is what our body requires us to eliminate these undue stresses. The problem is that if we don't listen to this information about our body, or if we don't know how to identify and solve why we feel pain, the pain may remain the same [at best] or increase.
In addition to incorrect posture and exercise patterns, other factors that may be occurring and may complicate or complicate the perceived low back pain and/or sciatica are that some of the soft tissues and muscles of the lower back may tighten and the muscles may also weaken. Some joints on the lower back can also be reinforced. All of this can lead to and exacerbate the pain we have already felt.
So how do we deal with it?
The purpose of any treatment should be to solve the problem, that is, to identify and correct incorrect postures or movement patterns that exert excessive pressure on the lower back and sciatic nerve, thus causing pain first. It may be necessary to identify and correct any tensions and/or weaknesses that exist. This is because tension and weakness also have a significant effect on low back pain and sciatica, and because of incorrect posture and movement patterns can lead to tension and weakness, and tightness and weakness can also lead to "chicken and egg" conditions often appear. Incorrect posture and motion mode.
As far as I am concerned, it is good and good to click on some joints or rupture or soft tissue massage to help relax. [Before I go any further, it is important that I declare here that I am a great advocate of massage to treat low back pain. And part of sciatica] But if we don't intend to explain why these joints or soft tissues are tightened first [cause], they will only tighten the date later.
I believe this is why I have treated many people who have been watching for many months [and sometimes even a few years] in order to "let their spine come back in place" [or that's the case]. For me, this proves that the root cause has not been resolved, so things continue to tighten and intensify again. Some tightness or stiffness may be being solved, but the cause of the problem is not the case. Therefore, due to the problem, the same structure that is tightened and strengthened will continue to do so!
This can be traced back to my original point of view and the title of this article: from
Low back pain and sciatica - We harvested what we planted. If we suffer from low back pain or sciatica, we are probably because we are doing some long-term and inappropriate pressure on the lower back and sciatic nerve. Therefore, responsibility must absolutely identify and resolve this cause.
That's why I developed my from
Personalized treatmentBecause I believe that most people with low back pain and sciatica can identify and resolve their causes of pain, so you don't need to see yourself and other health professionals like their back fixation. If you know what to look for to determine the cause of your back pain and sciatica, then how to solve this problem, almost everyone can treat and resolve their pain.
As I mentioned above, I will elaborate on some of these points in a future article, but I will also post new articles.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this article and I will return to another article soon.
Paul.
