Anxiety and movies

When I was in my twenties, I like thrillers. The more excited they are, the better. Tom Cruise is coming along! It will give me hours of escapism, rest from everyday life, and participate in the most exciting events in life.

Then my "dark years" began, and my world was troubled by anxiety and depression. I can't take care of myself, others, sometimes can't even get up. Unexplained pain made me enter the emergency room, and life felt like a painful waste.

This has been going on for five years. Needless to say, I have never liked to watch exciting movies. Every day there is intense excitement, tension and excitement. I don't need extra "pumping" to seek entertainment.

Physical effect

My pulse will match, my heart hurts, my head spins, and the excitement in the movie quickly makes me feel claustrophobic, so I have to leave the room. It may be difficult to explain the real physical effects of anxiety, but they are not discovered and not believed, because doctors cannot distinguish between the changes in the chemicals we naturally carry. This leads to the assumption that they have no obvious "causes."

Not only are our mortals suffering from an anxiety disorder. We may be sitting there watching a movie star who has experienced the stress of anxiety.

Celebrity friend Joe Beleznay is one of many celebrities who have been talking about their anxiety and physical influence. He told the Rolling Stones: "This is palpitations, shortness of breath, cold and trembling, weird things, we will say, you are completely okay. You have no heart attack. '"

symptom

Mind, a mental health charity, backs up these observations on his website, which lists the physical feelings of anxiety:

  • Disgusting [feeling disgusting]

  • Nervous muscles and headache

  • Needle felt

  • Feeling dizzy or dizzy

  • Breathing faster

  • Sweating or hot flashes

  • Fast, awkward or irregular heartbeat

  • High blood pressure

  • hard to fall asleep

  • Need to go to the toilet more often or less frequently

  • Fluttering in your belly

  • Experience panic attacks

This list is long and fairly common, not about the nature of the symptoms. It's best to consider how much they affect your life: Severe anxiety can have a serious impact on your daily life, and it also includes enjoying simple pleasures. Such as occasional movies.

Although my own symptoms were relieved in time, and I was understood, treated and supported by others; my tolerance for excitement was still low. So there is no Tom Cruise in my life!

If you have anxiety that is debilitating, please know that you are not alone.
